Currently, Library provides its users with access to the following databases:
The Knovel database is an electronic collection of books, manuals, encyclopedias, and other reference sources. It focuses on technology and applied sciences. It includes software tools that allow you to work with numerical data using interactive tables, graphs, and equations, use a phase diagram viewer, image viewer, physical, mathematical, and chemical unit converter, MS Excel tables, periodic table of elements, and more.
Available outside the SUA network upon registration.
is a platform that offers multidisciplinary content, covering more than 160 scientific fields. It mainly includes scientific journals (more than 10,000 titles), books, dissertations and theses, and newspapers. ProQuest is an aggregator, which means that it provides access to content from various publishers around the world. It allows for comfortable work with content and also offers, for example, machine translation of texts.

This is the most comprehensive database for chemical literature. You can search by topic, author, substance by name or CAS registration number, and use the editor to draw chemical structures, substructures, or reactions. It is a basic research tool for chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, nanotechnology, physics, environmental science, and other sciences and engineering disciplines.
To work with the SciFinder database, you need to create a personal account (registration). When registering, use your institutional email address (uniag.sk). Registration must take place on the internet network of the Slovak University of Agriculture. Register here
This is an important tool for researchers looking for data on the physical, chemical, spectral, or toxicological properties of chemical substances. It provides access to searches for structural formulas, chemical compounds, chemical reactions, and bibliographic data. It helps you quickly and efficiently find experimental data for a specific compound or reaction from different sources.
To work with the Reaxys database to its full potential, we recommend creating a personal account - register. If you are already registered in one of Elsevier's databases (ScienceDirect, Knovel, or Scopus), you can use your login details in Reaxys as well.
Strict licensing conditions apply to working with licensed databases. In general, bulk downloading of data, its further distribution, or commercial use is prohibited.
