We only lend to registered users.
Online request
- Search online catalog for a publication by entering the search term (e.g., title, author, subject/keyword, etc.)
- When the title is available for loan, confirm your order by clicking on the "Borrow" button.
- To order a publication, you must log in to the online catalog.
- If the title is not available, you can reserve it.
- Requests are processed immediately, but generally, the Library will reserve the ordered publication for you for up to 5 working days.
- The ordered book will be prepared for you at the circulation desk upon presentation of your student´s, reader's or identity card.
- Older publications (up to around 1970) may not be included in the online catalog. Please ask the consultation service for help or write to us.
Books in the study room
- Search online catalog for a publication by entering the search term (e.g., title, author, subject/keyword, etc.),
- Click on the title of the book to see details, Discolacion: Štúrova - voľný výber means the book is available in the study room,
- books in the study room can be borrowed directly without ordering online,
- books marked with a green label are available for borrowing outside the Library, with a red label are for use in the Library only.
Prolongations and reminders
- Check the loan periods.
- The library system automatically generates a notification of the approaching end of the loan period 5 days in advance. If a longer loan period is required, the loan can be prolonged.
- After the loan period has expired, the library system automatically generates reminders and fees for failure to comply with the loan period. Notifications and reminders are sent by email.
Prolongation the loan period:
- via the reader's account,
- in person at the Library.
Borrowed documents can be returned:
- in person at the Library,
- via the book return box (Figure), which is located at the side entrance to the Library,
- by sending a parcel to the address Slovak Agricultural Library at SUA in Nitra, Štúrova 51, 949 59 Nitra.
