E-books as part of full-text databases (licensed electronic information sources)
All databases are accessible from the university computer network.
Outside the SUA network, some databases are accessible upon registration. The condition is to register on the university's computer network and use an institutional email address (uniag.sk) when registering.
Outside the SUA network, all databases are also available via TuKAN remote access.
ProQuest Ebook Central
You can download e-books to your own device in the form of an e-loan, usually for a period of 28 days. The condition is to register in the database and use your institutional email address when registering.
E-books in the Library collections
They are available to registered readers via the Library online catalog. Their availability outside the SUA network depends on the publisher's terms and conditions.
We recommend searching the online catalog using Advanced Search, by publisher, Full Text option.
Flexibooks e-loans
E-books distributed by Flexibooks.cz. Books in Slovak or Czech language. The service is charged according to the current price list. More information is available in the catalog when sending an e-loan for a selected e-book title.
E-books in the form of permanent acquisition
These are books from various domestic and foreign publishers (e.g., Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic, Wageningen Academic Publishers, Taylor [&] Francis).
E-books published by SUA in Nitra
They are accessible at various levels, either with open access or accessible after logging into the online catalog.
